Getting started with Runapt
Create your account, finish onboarding, and learn your way around the app in a few minutes.
Create your account
- 1Download Runapt from the App Store or Google Play and open the app.
- 2Tap Sign up and register with your email and a password, or use a passkey for password-free sign-in.
- 3Check your inbox and tap the verification link. Email accounts must be verified before you can log in.
- 4Log back in once your email is verified.
Note · Why verify email?
Verification keeps your training data and subscription tied to an inbox you control, so you can always recover your account.
Finish onboarding
Onboarding builds your runner profile. The more accurate this is, the better your pace targets and plan fit.
- Fitness level: beginner, intermediate, or advanced.
- Personal metrics: age, weight, and sex for load and pace modeling.
- Heart rate: max and resting HR if you know them (used for zones).
- Recent volume: your current weekly distance and longest recent run.
Tip · You can change this later
Everything from onboarding lives under Settings → Runner profile and can be edited any time.
Find your way around
- Today: your planned run for the day, week strip, recovery card, and a quick-run button.
- Plan: your training calendar, weekly focus, and plan adjustments.
- Routes: your saved routes and the route editor.
- History: progress analytics: training load, consistency, and HR zones.
- Profile: achievements, streaks, health trends, and career stats.

Tips for an accurate setup
A few minutes of accurate input early on pays off in every pace target and plan you generate later.
- Use a recent, honest race or time-trial result: guessing too fast leads to paces you can’t hold.
- Add your resting and max heart rate if you know them; otherwise leave them blank and Runapt estimates from your profile.
- Set your correct units and language up front so every screen reads the way you expect.
- Connect a health app early so recovery data starts flowing from day one.
Tip · Not sure of your level?
Pick the level that matches your last few months of running, not your best-ever shape. You can always adjust after a couple of runs.
