About

Runapt is an adaptive running training app, built by one person in the Netherlands.

Runapt builds a training plan for a 5K, 10K, half marathon or marathon, sets the pace for each session from a recent race time, and changes the coming week when a run is missed or recovery is poor. It runs on iOS, Android and the web, in English and Dutch.

Who makes it

Rico Vossestein

I’m Rico Vossestein. I design, build and support Runapt myself, from Wilnis in the Netherlands. There is no team behind the support address: the reply comes from me.

Runapt is a product of Voscey, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 99994070.

How the plans are made

Paces come from Jack Daniels’ VDOT tables. Training load is tracked with CTL, ATL and TSB, and a readiness score from sleep, heart-rate variability and resting heart rate can cut a week short. The constants and the sources are published.

What is free and what is paid

5K and 10K plans, VDOT paces and routes are on the free plan, which has no time limit. Half marathon and marathon plans, unlimited plan adjustments and unlimited coach notes are part of Pro, which starts with a 14-day trial. Route generation is live in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
