Integrations
Connecting health apps, watches, and Spotify
Sync with Apple Health or Health Connect, connect a watch, control Spotify, and set up notifications.
Health sync
Connect Apple HealthKit (iOS) or Health Connect (Android) in Settings. Runapt reads sleep, HRV, and resting heart rate to power your recovery score, and writes completed runs back to your health app.
Watches and devices
- Connect supported wearables in Settings. Only integrations enabled for this release appear in the app.
- Depending on the device you can import runs, export workouts, or launch a workout on the watch.
- Recovery metrics from a connected device show up on Today, and trends appear on your Profile.
No duplicate runs
Runs you finish without signal are queued in encrypted storage and upload when you reconnect. If the same workout arrives from two enabled sources, Runapt de-duplicates by matching timelines and distance.
Spotify and notifications
- Connect Spotify in Settings, pick a run playlist, and control playback from the active run screen.
- Subscribe your training plan to your device calendar so planned runs appear alongside your schedule.
- Tune push notifications and set quiet hours so you’re only nudged when it helps.
Frequently asked
- Which watches are supported?
- Supported watches depend on the integrations enabled for the current release. Capabilities (import, export, launch workout) vary by device.
- Do I need Spotify Premium?
- No. Run controls use Spotify App Remote on your phone and work with free and Premium accounts. Install the Spotify app, connect in Settings, and pick a run playlist.
